Design a T-shirt for The Next Fifty

The theme for Buzz #5 will be: The Next Fifty Years: Arts, Culture & Design. Seattle has one of the best art scenes in the nation, hands down; from the varied selection of theater, dance and music to the many examples of visual art, performance art and the nation’s largest film festival. For years the Seattle Center has been integral to the city’s art scenes by housing many of their parent organizations, as well as boasting some of the region’s most innovative and inspiring architecture. We’ll celebrate this legacy for the entire celebration from April 21 – October 21, 2012.

You are invited to submit t-shirt designs using our template and guidelines as a reference. The community will be invited to score the designs, so spread the word!

Prize for Winning Design

A panel of judges will select the winning design. If your idea is selected for production, you’ll receive:

A 20-session pass to the open studio at the Gage Academy of Art in which artists can work independently to draw, paint or sculpt the figure. Plus two instructional art books (Classical Painting Atelier and Classical Drawing Atelier, both by Juliette Aristides, one of the Atelier instructors at Gage) (donated by GAGE Academy of Art)
one (1) Silk Screening class for winner and friend at Vera Project, (donated by The Vera Project),
4 Passes to the Experience Music Project and one of their custom-designed 10^th Anniversary T-Shirts (donated by the Experience Music Project)
Two (2) adult admission tickets to the Seattle Art Museum (donated by the Seattle Art Museum)
