Free Clinic Advisory Board

In October 2014, the first Seattle/King County Clinic opened its doors to provide free dental, vision and medical care to people in need in our community.  While its success generated interest for another event to be held , it also raised questions about short term, free clinic events in relation to the current health care climate.  As such, Seattle Center asked Tao Kwan-Gett, MD, MPH from University of Washington School of Public Health and Christine Lindquist, MPH from Washington Healthcare Access Alliance, to convene a task force to examine the questions and issues that were raised.

The Free Clinic Advisory Board Report and Appendix, which also serve as tools for others who may be considering short term, high impact, free clinic events, are the culmination of their one year of meetings and discussions.
