Accomplishments

Since 1977, Seattle Center Foundation has continued to support the evolution of Seattle Center with favorites such as the International Fountain. We added beauty to the Seattle Center campus with the sculpture Olympic Iliad by Alexander Liberman in 1984, Moon Gates by Doris Chase in 1999 and the Fountain of Seseragi by Gerard Tsutakawa in 2000.

Seattle Center Foundation helped bring Seattle Center into the 21st Century by participating in the renovation of the Broad Street Green, securing over $3 million in private funds for the new Fisher Pavilion, and over $70 million for the new Marion Oliver McCaw Hall. From art to architecture, Seattle Center Foundation has long encouraged investment in the Center of your life, ensuring our community’s gathering place keeps growing and flourishing.
