The 1962 World’s Fair launched Seattle’s future as one of the world’s most vibrant cities. In 2012 we will celebrate the 50th anniversary and envision the next 50 years of innovation for our region.

From April 21 to October 21, 2012, people through the community will come together at festivals and concerts, exhibits and demonstrations, speaker series and forums to envision the future of a region that is home to creative and practical solutions for the world’s biggest issues.

You are The Next Fifty and your ideas can help shape this six-month celebration. Starting April 21, 2010 we invite you to share your ideas for the 50th anniversary celebration and the future of our region at www.thenextfifty.org, where you can help turn ideas into reality for 2012.
